Alignment-Free Joint Angles Measurement Using Virtual Reference Coordinate System

In order to overcome the difficulty in aligning specimens accurately within a reference system for angular kinematic measurements, method of using virtual coordinate was designed and implemented conjunction with an optical motion capture device. The is created by digitizing three identifiable points space.
